We just can’t thank you enough. You have saved our lives. For 2 years we had struggled as a duel physician household when it came to THE CHILDCARE DELIMMA. We tried the hospital day care but found it to be just an over priced day care. We tried using an Au pair service and were painfully disappointed with the young woman who was then living in our home and under our feet around the clock. Another physician at the hospital suggested we call you and we are so glad we did. When you came to our home for the initial in home consultation we were impressed with your experience not only as a former Nanny but also your experience of 10 years in the Nanny placement business.
Your screening process of the Nanny candidates was so extremely thorough that it left us to choose between 3 highly qualified, intelligent and talented Nannies. Of the three we decided on Nanny Susan because she most closely resembles the Grandma that lived with us when were living in California. I can’t imagine how we possible survived before we had Susan as our Nanny.
My husband and I, along with Nanny Susan have become a fine parenting team and we are delighted to tell you that we are expecting a new little boy in February.

This is just a quick note to say everything is going just great with our Nanny Lisa. As I write this check for the annual fee I recall you saying “It is difficult to put a price on the comfort of knowing that your child is getting undivided love, attention and the security of napping in his or her own bed at nap time” Well Denise, you did put a price on it, and as far as I’m concerned it’s a bargain!
The benefits of having a Family Friend Nanny are numerous. The fact that our 6-month-old twin daughters don’t have to accommodate our schedules is a relief. We can’t imagine waking them up each morning, packing 2 diaper bags and dropping them off in a public daycare.
The Nanny journal that Nanny Lisa writes each day is something I look forward to reading when I get home. She does a wonderful job of communicating with us regarding the physical, intellectual and social needs of our children and how each need was met each day.
Also, thank you for sending over Nanny Jo-lynn when our regular Nanny Lisa had to be out of town with the funeral of her Aunt. We were impressed with her as well.

I’m not sure I have the time to tell you ALL the benefits our family has experienced so far with our Family Friend Nanny. But first, I will say that our lives have become much easier and more organized. For example: In the morning when our Nanny Elizabeth arrives, she helps the children finish up breakfast, get them dressed and packs their lunches. While they are in school she tends to the house, prepares or plans dinner and walks our dog. Our youngest child goes to school ½ day so around lunch time she picks him up and he get to take a nap in his own bed. At naptime, they have a special routine that includes brushing his teeth and reading several of his favorite books.
One thing that our family really appreciates is that our Nanny is available to our family all day. So if one of our older children is sick or has a half-day of school it is not a problem. Our Nanny is eager to help with the “little things” like talking the children shopping for a birthday present for the classmate’s party after school that I completely forgot about! So I would say that a benefit for our family is the new found ease with the general running of our household now that we have our Nanny Elizabeth.

The benefits that we have noticed in the last year have mostly been behavioral. Our son Michael who is 7 has been a bit of a handful. We moved here from Austin Texas about 2 years ago, at that point Michael had recently been diagnosed with ADD. We discussed this with our placement counselor and she recommended several Nannies who had experience with especially active children like our Michael. Our Nanny Tonya has been a real blessing.
Nanny Tonya has given Michael firm and loving boundaries and we have seen him respond very well to her guidance. We feel that Nanny Tonya has not only made an extraordinary difference in Michael but she has trained us as well. The agency did a wonderful job matching us with Nanny Tonya. I am expecting a new little daughter in February and all three of us (adults) are looking forward to her arrival. Nanny Tonya is just ideal for us. Nanny Leslie has cared for our twins for 8 months now and the benefits are already evident. Nanny Leslie enthusiastically greets them each morning and they seem equally excited to see her.
